The Visionary and leader for New Beginnings Christian Fellowship is Bishop James E. Griffin. His first appointment as Pastor was in 1995 for The Mississippi United Methodist Conference, where he served several churches throughout Mississippi.
After serving 14 years in the United Methodist Conference, Bishop Griffin stepped out on faith and gave birth to New Beginnings Christian Fellowship, located in the city of Pearl, Mississippi.
He also serves as the founder and CEO of UP-LIF Ministries
(Uniting Pastors & Leaders in Fellowship).
He is a native of Meridian, Mississippi, Retired Army War Veteran and Desert Storm/Desert Shield soldier. He is married to Juanita Brown Griffin and they have four children, Christopher Terrell, James Sterlen, Jamya Alexus, and John Issac. Bishop James E. Griffin has received his Associate of Arts Degree in business and his Bachelor's in Pastoral Ministries and Biblical Studies.
